Do you have a friend or family member who bears the majority of responsibility of care? Do something nice for caregivers not only during the holidays but every month of the year. Give a caregiver the gift of time by giving your time to care for their friend or family member.  Send a caregiver to the movies or out of the house to do any activity of their choice.  Or better yet, take their friend or family member out of the house and give them a few hours of peace and quiet in their own home. Caregiving is a full time job much like raising children.  Some caregivers are never able to leave home unless they have someone to care for their loved one.
