In my weekly radio program Parenting Your Parents I often hear how difficult it is to talk to parents or children about the need for care. The key is to take the first step and bring up the conversation. Sure, it’s difficult, but all of us have to begin somewhere. And this is not a conversation to spring on a family member, make sure the time and setting are appropriate for the subject you wish to discuss.
