Have you recently been home for a visit with your parents and noticed that things seemed a little off, but just couldn’t put your finger on what seemed different? This is a common occurrence as our parents age and more easily noticed if we don’t see them on a regular basis because we live out of town or because of other responsibilities we’re unable to visit frequently. You might notice that the house isn’t as clean as it once was, that one or both parents have lost weight or that they seem a little more disorganized. Do you say something or just let this pass until your next visit?
