Assuming you take good care of yourself and see a physician at least on an annual basis, as you age you may wish to consider a geriatric physician.  Just as children see pediatricians because they specialize in health related to babies and young children, geriatricians specialize in the health conditions of older adults.  They may be more likely to recognize memory loss, depression and other diseases common to older adults.  Many are more empathetic to the losses of old age. Here in the Denver area there are several good geriatric practices.
