Screening tests, mammograms, pap smears and blood pressure have decreased since 2001 according to the Kaiser Family Foundation.  We all know that screening tests are important for early detection.  However sometimes, we’d rather not know.  Because finding out means we’d have to do something about the results and it might be work or we might have to take medications.  I make my annual screenings a birthday gift to myself.  Every year on or about the month of August I go in for an annual physical and complete my related screenings.
