How many of us wait until we have a small emergency to take care of ourselves?  Our doctor tells us we should watch our weight, our blood sugar, take more calcium, get more exercise, etc.  The truth is that we know ourselves better than anyone but often we neglect our own care.  There’s nothing wrong with spoiling yourself.  Who better to spoil you?  And it doesn’t have to be something big — small indulgences like scented candles, bubble baths, a foot soak, a favorite video, a walk with your dog, reading the entire newspaper or a good book – are enough to rejuvenate body and soul.  Take the time to do something special for yourself.
