You hear that it’s good for you.  You hear that you should, but it takes effort and time.  Exercise, at least 30 minutes a day 5 days a week is good for you.  So good that it helps prevent or delay the major issues that most of us will face when we grow older:  heart disease, stroke, cancer and diabetes.  I’ve been exercising since my early twenties since my mother was diagnosed with heart disease and needed a by-pass in her early 50’s.  She smoked, I have never, however this was enough of a wake up call that I didn’t want to be in her shoes in my early 50’s.  Fortunately for me, it’s become a habit.  There are still days when I have to drag myself to the gym, but when my workout is finished and I’m leaving, I’m glad I went.
