Many caregivers experience significant financial implications because of their caregiving duties. This relates not only to purchasing food and household goods for the people for whom they provide care but also in travel relates expenses like gasoline. A good portion of caregivers leave their paid positions to care for family members. Many who have done this say they wouldn’t have done it any other way, however the financial impact to them and their families is long term.
